From the bridge to the shipyard.
My career in yachting began more than 30 years ago on board as a deckhand.
I progressed through the roles of First Officer and Captain, commanding yachts up to 32 metres.
Over the years, my work expanded beyond navigation into yacht maintenance, refit and new construction.
I have followed projects involving fibreglass yachts from 27 to 32 metres, steel and aluminium yachts up to 40 metres, and maintenance and technical assistance on yachts from 10 to 42 metres.
This experience allows me to understand a yacht not only as a technical asset, but as a living, working environment.

My role as Owner Representative is to keep the owner's objectives at the centre of the project.
I coordinate with the relevant professionals, monitor progress, identify potential issues and verify that agreed works are properly carried out.

From 2020 to 2024, I also worked in yacht brokerage with business partners.
This experience gave me a broader understanding of the yacht market, including valuation, acquisition, sales processes and the expectations of buyers and owners.
Today, this knowledge complements my technical and operational experience.
